V-ribbed belt

The V-ribbed belt, also known as the composite V-belt, is a new type of transmission belt, which is an endless belt with a plurality of longitudinal triangular wedges attached under the flat belt base, and the wedge-shaped surface is a working surface. The wedge drive combines the advantages of a triangular belt drive and a flat belt drive. It has a large transmission power, small vibration and stable operation. Since the contact between the V-ribbed belt and the pulley is good, the load distribution between the working surfaces is uniform, so its bearing capacity is high. In the case of the same width as a normal V-belt, the transmission power of the V-ribbed belt can be increased by 30% to 50%, that is, when the same power is transmitted, the V-ribbed belt can be used to reduce the diameter and width of the pulley. Compact and cost-effective.

Eliminate the uneven length of the belt

Eliminates the uneven length of the belt when multiple belt drives are used. Therefore, in the case of instantaneous overload, the V-ribbed belt can still not slip, and continues to drive with high efficiency. Generally, the width of the V-belt has manufacturing errors along the circumference of the belt, causing the transmission ratio to change and causing vibration, and the V-ribbed belt has no such disadvantage, and the vibration is small, the heat is small, and the operation is stable.

Low elongation and long service life

Like the timing belt, the V-ribbed belt uses a steel wire rope or a polyester cord with low elongation and high tensile strength and fatigue resistance as a strong layer, and the outer surface is covered with rubber or polyurethane. In particular, the polyurethane V-ribbed belt is light in weight, high in strength, good in oil and abrasion resistance, high in friction coefficient and better in transmission performance.
